WebBasically I’m looking for a patch or way to patch in actual RNG instead of seed based/in game timer (in case you don’t know emeralds rng is super crap because it’s based on frames since (I think boot up)). In theory, if the RNG is fixed you could implement precise shiny odds, I.E. 1/4098 or 1/512 exactly. Hopefully this will be super easy ... WebSep 17, 2013 · using crystaltile2, if you extract and decompress the arm9.bin file from the rom and then go to 0x13F0C in the arm9, you'll see these 2 numbers: "08 28" change the 08 up to FF to increase the shiny rate. once you're done, do NOT re-compress the arm9. simply insert it back into the rom.
